Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about Plum Grove Family Dental or dentistry in general? Either way, we’re happy to provide the answers you need! Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions our patients ask us every day. If you have one that we haven’t covered here, be sure to give us a call today!
How often should my family see the dentist?
According to Dr. Wang as well as the American Dental Association, healthy people of all ages should visit the dentist at least twice a year (or every 6 months) for regular checkups and cleanings. This is the best way to prevent the most common dental problems over time as well as allow Dr. Wang to catch issues in their earliest stages.
Do you treat children?
Yes! Plum Grove Family Dental is ready to serve all of Rolling Hills’ littlest citizens. We have a fun and relaxed environment that kids love as well as the treatments developing smiles need to grow and stay healthy year after year.
Can you help get rid of my dental stains/chips/cracks/gaps?
Yes! We offer a selection of cosmetic treatments, and Dr. Wang has years of experience combining art and science to make dental flaws disappear and create beautiful, natural-looking smiles. Check out our cosmetic page to see which treatment would be right for you.
What is the best way to replace my missing teeth?
While we offer a number of excellent tooth replacement options, Dr. Wang would highly-recommend that someone interested in rebuilding their smile consider dental implants. They look the most natural, last the longest, and provide the most lifelike function of any treatment available today. Dr. Wang can even perform the entire procedure from start to finish unlike most other general dentists, saving you from having to deal with an inconvenient referral.
Can you fix my uncomfortable/unreliable denture?
We sure can! With dental implant-retained dentures, we can give you a set of teeth that will look great, stay in place, and will maintain their secure fit for years to come. We can often retrofit traditional dentures to work with implants, or we can even provide you with a new custom-made prosthetic right in the office.
Will you accept my insurance?
Yes, our practice is very insurance-friendly, and we accept plans from a long list of popular providers. To learn how we can use your particular plan to help you save at your next appointment, contact us today.
Is there a way to finance my dental care?
Yes, we accept third-party financing from CareCredit. They offer a number of flexible, low-to-no interest payment plans, and you can easily sign up for one by clicking on the button on our new patients page.
